Try something called pinotage from South Africa. Like a pinot noir but a little spicier. Goes well will Thanksgiving dinner but not sista talk sessions or lite cocktail hours. Dude in LA calls it "lusty." (he's a screenwriter hahaha). But really--it is.

That's what you get for getting talked into a cross-bred wine. Cross-bred grapes, such as pinotage, are another matter.
