WAY too funny....not exactly the double-dutch bus, but I'm betting the video clips that fell to the editing floor hold the real story.

Looks like you met your match in the shoe category...someone who can "speak shoe" is a force to be reckoned with (especially if he can coordinate what looked like blue shoes to his blue pants like that - fascinating).

Very interesting group of folks, and when you are all together, I can see how the mystery of the creative process can be a comical place too.

So, you get a call, a request, an email from a friend. When you need money, what do you do? Do you repeatedly depend on friends to solve your cash flow problems if you have them? Or do you find other ways to meet your fiscal needs. This is a dilemma. I'm not talking about the type of crisis where you need some money to pay the rent, buy the groceries, feed the kids, but the type of crisis where its just not clear. And if you find yourself there, do you find yourself there over and over again? Let’s say, I have a legal problem. I need a lawyer. How do I get the money together to pay the lawyer’s retainer. And let’s say I've been here before. You know what I would do? I’d save it. Maybe ten bucks a week if that was all I had and just wait until I knew could pay. Cowboy Down Low

Back in September, a local school had one of its donors take back a 3 million dollar pledge because the short story "Brokeback Mountain" was on the reading list, and now the movie based on the short story is all over the news winning awards. I wanted to see what all the hubbub was about so I went to see Brokeback Mountain this week. I thought it would be an easy task, but the men in my life refused to go with me. They didn't want to see a gay-man movie, it seemed. Okay, now I was really intrigued. I went in the middle of the afternoon and thought it would be nice and quiet, but I was mistaken. Just as I got out of my car, a bus from a senior citizen retirement village pulled up. Turned out they all wanted to see Brokeback, too. Fortunately I was able to by pass the ticket wondow and the line because I had Fandangoed my ticket, and I slid into my seat just as the lights dimmed.
